Schöffel is a German family business based in Schwabmünchen that specializes in the manufacture and sale of high-quality outdoor, ski and mountain sports clothing.
In the teamwear sector, the business is seasonally focused and it is important that customers can imagine their color variation.
Unstructured requests via various channels posed major challenges for processing. The use of samples was time-consuming and expensive.
The configurator project has two main aspects: one that you can see and one that is hidden and yet just as important:
1) A visual configurator based on photographs replaces samples, avoids mistakes and makes it easier to sell entire outfits.
2) The data is structured, error-free and automatically transferred to the ERP - this allows even the highest seasonal order volumes to be processed.
The configurator as a cost saver
Today, inquiries to Schöffel no longer come via a wide variety of channels, but centrally and error-free via the configurator directly into the ERP.
Schöffel no longer needs samples, the configurator visualizes the variants in photo quality.
